Lulu Bell Parr Monument

On September 15, 2001, The Lulu Bell Parr Monument was dedicated.  The Medway Area Historical Society had a parade in Lulu's honor which included the Indian Creek Regulators,  rope tricks, horses, a couple burros, and a couple of neighbors from Lulu's old neighborhood.  Refreshments were served afterwards.

Medway Heritage Cookbook

This project went very well and the books sold quickly!  Recipes were donated by by members of the society as well as members of the community.  This book contains many historic pictures and a lot of Medway History as well.  This was a great project for 2003!

Veteran's Monument

The Veteran's Monument was put in place May 22 just in time to be used during the May 29, 2004 Memorial Day ceremonies.  Money was raised by donations and by a benefit which included a raffle, silent auction, and a performance by the blue grass band "Timely Arrival".

Time Capsule

For the year 2005, our project was putting together a time capsule not to be open until the year of Ohio's Tri-centennial in 2103.  We added over 300 items including today's business information, menus, phone book, maps, church items, school items, sports, and much more.  List of items
